Whitianga

...is the main settlement of Mercury Bay, an attractive township with a deepwater harbour. Its harbour has made Whitianga the home of the Mercury Bay Boating club and the departure point for big game fishing enthusiasts. Many charter boats ply the waters of Mercury Bay for fishing or scenic cruising.

Directions
Whitianga is approximately 2 ½ hours from Auckland.From Auckland, head south on the Southern Motorway towards Hamilton and at the foot of the Bombay Hills, turn left onto SH2 to Tauranga. Travel approx. 25 minutes, turn left onto SH25, to the Thames/ Coromandel Peninsula.

Once over the long one-way bridge, turn right at the Kopu t-intersection, then left onto SH25A and follow the signs to Tairua.You will arrive in Tairua after approx. 40 minutes. Continue through the township and on towards Whitianga. Approaching Whitianga township you will pass Whitianga airport on the left hand side. Continue to round-a-bout and turn left to city centre. Continue straight ahead through two further round-a-bouts then turn left onto Albert Street.

Take second street on the right this is Blacksmith Lane. This Lane merges with The Esplanade where The Landing is on the left hand side opposite the Wharf boat ramp.

Any form of cancellation must be received in writing (email is ok).

Cancellation within 48 hours of arrival date: If not re-let we reserve the right to charge 1 nights fee.

We offer four well appointed rooms with king or queen size beds, TV and fridge. The rooms sleep 2 or 3 people and have private ensuite or bathrooms.

$85.00 - $130.00
Off season rates:
stay 2 nights for the price of one or
stay 4 nights and get the 5th night free.
Rates include the New Zealand Goods & Services Tax of 12.50%.
